Computer Aided Ordering

Store level, this might mean a simple "gap assessment", with the computer filling in the order quantities, or a complex ordering formula based on Point Of Sale (POS), Perpetual Inventory data and Display Requirements.

Members of the DRG Consulting staff have been involved with Store level ordering since the early 1960's with IBM's RETAIL IMPACT, Consumer Goods Ordering (COGS) and INFOREM. In addition, we have worked with major software providers in the development and implementation of both Centralized and Store Based CAO systems.

With this broad level of experience, DRG Consulting can assist you in the development/improvement of your own CAO systems by reviewing current processes/systems, recommending customizations or upgrades, helping to select new technology/systems and providing training in the maintenance of your ordering parameters
